Terms & Conditions
CONTRACT DURATION
This Agreement begins on the date of purchase and continues until completion of the Group Coaching & Facilitation training.
The training consists of a total of 8.5 hours of learning:
5 hours of self-paced online learning
3.5 hours of live online experiential learning and practice
Following purchase, participants will be given access to the self-paced online learning materials. All self-paced learning and the required reflective learning activity must be completed before attending the live training session.
The self-paced learning includes recorded learning units and supporting resources covering areas including group coaching, the skills of a group coach, trust and psychological safety, group theories and Action Learning Sets.
Participants are expected to complete all self-paced learning before attending the live training session.
The live training session takes place via Zoom and includes a combination of teaching, group discussion, reflection and experiential practice.
Specific live training dates and times will be confirmed at the point of booking and/or via email.
The training is delivered by Stellar Conversations.
Participants will retain access to the online learning materials for two years from the date of purchase.
Stellar Conversations reserves the right to amend training dates, times or delivery arrangements where reasonably necessary. Participants will be given as much notice as possible should changes arise.
COMMUNICATION
Participants will receive relevant joining information and communications by email prior to the live training session.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that the email address supplied at the point of booking is correct and for checking communications relating to their training.
PAYMENT
Payment is made in full at the point of booking via Stripe.
The applicable training fee will be shown at the point of booking.
Once access to the online learning materials has been provided, payment is non-refundable, subject to any applicable statutory consumer rights.
NATURE OF THE TRAINING
Group Coaching & Facilitation is a professional development training programme designed to develop participants’ understanding, confidence and skills in working with groups.
The programme combines theoretical learning with reflection, discussion and experiential practice.
The training is not therapy, psychological counselling or a substitute for professional mental health support.
Participants remain responsible for determining how they apply the learning within their own professional practice and for working within the boundaries of their own competence, qualifications and professional responsibilities.
ICF CONTINUING COACH EDUCATION
The Stellar Group Coaching & Facilitation programme is accredited with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) for 8.5 Continuing Coach Education (CCE) hours, comprising:
5.5 hours Core Competencies
3 hours Resource Development
In order to receive confirmation of the full 8.5 CCE hours, participants are required to:
• Complete the 5 hours of self-paced online learning
• Complete the required reflective learning/evaluation activity
• Attend and participate in the full 3.5-hour live training session
Confirmation of CCE hours is dependent upon completion of all required elements of the training.
Participants who do not complete the required elements may not be eligible to receive confirmation of the full CCE hours.
ATTENDANCE, CANCELLATION & TRANSFERS
Due to the interactive and experiential nature of the live training, participants are expected to attend the full 3.5-hour session.
If a participant is unable to attend their booked live training session, fees remain non-refundable once access to the online learning materials has been provided.
Where reasonable notice is given, Stellar Conversations may offer one transfer to a future available Group Coaching & Facilitation training date. Transfers are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Any subsequent non-attendance following a transfer may result in the live training element being forfeited.
Places may not be transferred to another individual without prior agreement from Stellar Conversations.
If Stellar Conversations is unable to deliver a scheduled live session due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, participants will be offered an alternative date as soon as reasonably possible.
TECHNOLOGY
Participants are responsible for ensuring they have access to a suitable internet connection, device, camera, microphone and Zoom access in order to participate fully in the live online training.
Participants are also responsible for ensuring they can access the online learning platform and should contact Stellar Conversations if they experience access difficulties.
GROUP PARTICIPATION
The live training is designed to provide a supportive environment for discussion, reflection and experiential practice.
Participants are expected to engage respectfully and professionally and to contribute to creating a psychologically safe learning environment for everyone attending.
Participants may choose the extent to which they share personal experiences during discussion and practice activities and are encouraged to work within their own boundaries.
Offensive, discriminatory, abusive or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the training without refund.
GUARANTEES
There are no guarantees that the training will meet every participant’s individual expectations or produce a particular professional or personal outcome.
Participants are encouraged to approach the learning with openness, curiosity, reflection and a willingness to participate in experiential practice.
If concerns arise during the training, participants are encouraged to raise these directly with Stellar Conversations.
CONFIDENTIALITY
As part of the live training, participants may share personal reflections, professional experiences and information relating to their coaching or facilitation practice.
Stellar Conversations will treat information shared during the training confidentially and will not disclose personal information to third parties unless:
a) there is a serious concern regarding safety or wellbeing
b) disclosure is required by law
c) information is required for professional accreditation, quality assurance or regulatory purposes
As this is group-based training, complete confidentiality between participants cannot be guaranteed.
Participants are expected to respect the confidentiality and privacy of others and must not share personal or identifiable information disclosed by other participants outside the training environment.
RECORDING OF LIVE SESSIONS
The live Group Coaching & Facilitation training session is not recorded.
Participants must not make audio, video or screen recordings of the live training session or of other participants without the prior express permission of Stellar Conversations and everyone concerned.
NOTES
Stellar Conversations may retain brief written notes and appropriate records relating to attendance, completion and training administration.
Participants are encouraged to take their own learning notes, journal and reflect on their development throughout the programme.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & RESOURCES
All Group Coaching & Facilitation training materials, resources, frameworks, handouts, recordings, downloadable PDFs and supporting content provided by Stellar Conversations remain the intellectual property of Stellar Conversations unless otherwise stated.
Resources are provided for individual participant use only and must not be copied, reproduced, shared, distributed or used for commercial training purposes without prior written permission.
Participants may use learning, skills and reflective insights gained through the training within their own professional practice. However, Stellar Conversations' programme content, resources and materials may not be repurposed, taught, reproduced or presented as the participant's own material.
Access to the online learning materials is provided for two years from the date of purchase. Access is personal to the registered participant and must not be shared with another person.
GDPR CONSENT
Stellar Conversations collects and processes personal information in order to provide the Group Coaching & Facilitation training, administer bookings and attendance, maintain appropriate training and accreditation records, and communicate with participants.
This information may include your name, email address, attendance and completion information, reflective learning/evaluation responses and any information you choose to share as part of the training.
All personal information is stored securely and appropriate measures are in place to prevent unauthorised access.
Administrative support may have limited access to participant information and email communications for operational and training administration purposes.
You have rights under GDPR, including the right to request access to your data, request corrections or request erasure in certain circumstances.
Stellar Conversations is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). Further information about your rights can be found on the ICO website.
