Stellar Group Coaching

Our Stellar Group Coaching and Facilitation training has been developed for people who lead others and for those with knowledge of coaching skills.

This ICF accredited hybrid training is for people who want to facilitate open and purposeful dialogue, with groups of people. It is for people who value great conversations and supporting others to move forward.

The training with Stellar Conversations will teach you the foundational skills and methodologies required for facilitating and coaching small groups of up to eight or ten people.

You’ll learn the key skills required to facilitate groups using a coaching approach and gain insight into group dynamics. You’ll spend time exploring how to create inclusive and equitable spaces.

The training is hybrid, five hours of video content for self paced learning, followed by 3.5 hours in the training room putting it onto practice. The live training is a mix of teaching, group discussion and experiential learning, practicing methodologies including Action Learning Sets. All of this is delivered in a warm and welcoming online environment.

Learning Outcomes

  • An understanding of what small group facilitation using coaching skills is, and how it differs from other approaches

  • An understanding of the skills required to facilitate Groups with a Coaching approach

  • An awareness of group dynamics

  • An understanding and ability to facilitate small group processes including Action Learning Sets and Positive Gossip.

Who is this training for?

It is for people who facilitate groups who want to use a coaching approach. That might be managers, community workers, leaders, independent coaches, executives and people who work with people.

Do I need to be a coach to go on this training?

We recommend this training as Continuous Professional Development, for people who have knowledge of coaching skills and some coaching experience.


Is this training accredited?

Yes it is accredited with the International Coaching Federation as Continuing Coach Education (CCE). 8.5 CCE, 5 hours Core Competency and 3.5 hours Resource Development.

Is the training online?

This training is delivered online. We also offer it in house to organisations, this can be delivered online or offline, depending on location.
