Who are you, Coach?

Who are you, Coach?

Do you know who you are as a coach?

At Stellar Conversations we are all about thinker led conversations and being fluid and adaptable in our approach, responsive to the needs of the person we are in conversation with.

We also believe that who we are is how we coach.

Congruence as facilitators of coaching conversations is really important to enable trust and psychological safety and to allow us do our best work.

As coaches we are not simply empty vessels sitting listening and asking questions. We bring our own unique set of skills, personality and ways of being to the conversations we facilitate.

Having an awareness of who we are, how we work and what we bring to coaching conversations can be really helpful.

  • As independent Coaches we can describe who we are and how we work so that future clients can get clarity and know that they want to work with us (or not).
  • As internal coaches it can help set the scene with coaching partners building trust from the outset.
  • When coaches are clear on who they are, how the work and what they are offering it supports their confidence and their ability to create great spaces with coaching partners.
  • It can enable coaches to niche if that is something they want to do.

How it Works

On the recording below we'll be using some slides and questions to support your thinking.

Do it in your own time in a way that works for you.

About Stellar Conversations

At Stellar Conversations we train people who work with people to facilitate impactful conversations using coaching skills. A simple idea that leads to transformational results.

By impactful conversations we mean conversations that feel different to the average conversation. Conversations that use coaching skills to facilitate thinking, and that thinking to facilitate insight and growth.
